Mission

The purpose of SOUNDS is to provide educational opportunities in violin, viola, cello, bass, voice,  piano, classical guitar,  and many other instruments to come, for students of all ages.  The goal is to enrich the cultural environment in Owen and surrounding counties in Southern Indiana.  S.O.U.N.D.S.  Provides students the opportunity to study, excel, and perform, along with providing a service to a large assortment of audiences throughout the area.  Community citizenship and leadership will be encouraged by providing opportunities to students to build their performance experience by being able to perform at various public events such as fundraiser’s, civic groups, music festivals, youth orchestra etc.  S.O.U.N.D.S. is excited to provide these educational services to Southern Indiana.
